Jay C. Levinson, nació en Detroit (Estados Unidos), es Licenciado en Psicología p
or la Universidad de Colorado. Jay C. Levinson, es autor del popular libro "Guerrilla Marketing", donde describe los instrumentos de marketing poco convencionales que pueden ser utilizados en aquellos casos donde los recursos económicos u otros recursos son limitados o inexistentes.

Jay C. Levinson, trabajo como Director Creativo en Leo Burnett en Londres, después de esta experiencia en Europa, vuelve a los Estados Unidos para unirse a J. Walter Thompson como Senior VP.

Conceptos de Marketing: Marketing de Guerrilla


Podriamos definir Marketing de Guerrilla como la vía a través de la cual se pretend
e la consecución de los objetivos de marketing planteados a través de métodos poco convencionales que se basen en los hábitos y costumbres del público objetivo para sorprenderlos en sus actividades cotidianas.

El Marketing de Guerrilla, busca llegar a los mercados y alcanzar los objetivos por caminos no vistos, es decir, usar estrategias altern
ativas para aprovechar lo que se tiene, por poco que sea, en acciones destinadas a conquistar nichos concretos, con objetivos bien definidos, pero con pocos recursos y mucha creatividad.

En definitiva, el Marketing de Guerrilla
es marketing de alto impacto a bajo coste. En los 70's Jay C. Levinson acuño el término tras desmitificar la fórmula Notoriedad = Inversión. En la actualidad esta de moda, porque el consumidor ya n tiene por qué soportar que la publicidad le moleste, es por ello, que los anunciantes deben agudizar su ingenio.

El Marketing de Guerrilla suele utilizarse para lanzar un producto, para fidelizar, para atraer tráfico al punto de venta....Los fines son conocidos, lo que cambian son los medios.

Características Principales del Marketing de Guerrilla
  • Está diseñado para empresas pequeñas (con bajo presupuesto)
